Location. The high-rise, beachfront Torrequebrada Hotel overlooks the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa del Sol, Spain. The popular resorts of Benalmadena and Torremolinos are within five kilometres, and the Torrequebrada Golf Club is a kilometre inland. Tivoli World theme park is two kilometres away. Malaga International Airport (AGP), and the town's Picasso Museum, are 12 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This modern hotel, named after a 500-year-old Moorish tower which can be seen from the hotel, is set in tropical gardens overlooking two beaches.
The Torrequebrada Hotel offers complimentary breakfast buffet, served in the Pavillon Restaurant overlooking the sea. It also serves international and Mediterranean lunches surrounded by tropical plants. Its terrace is open in warmer months. Café Royal is a fine dining Mediterranean restaurant with garden and sea views and a summer barbecue. Dishes in the Grill Casino include Andalucian Gazpacho and Chateaubriand with Bearnaise Sauce. There's Far Eastern fare in Yuan, and live music in the Piano Bar with its seafront terrace.
The Torrequebrada Hotel has meeting rooms, business centre, and high-speed Internet connections (surcharge) in public areas.
Guests can swim in two outdoor pools and a glass-roofed indoor pool. One beach has watersports. There is a gym, tennis court, and guests enjoy a discount at local golf courses. There is a large casino, and the 400-square-metre Spa Torrequebrada includes sauna and hydromassage baths. The Sala Fortuna cabaret presents international entertainment and flamenco shows.
Guestrooms. The Torrequebrada Hotel's 350 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in terracotta and green. All rooms have balconies, dial-up Internet ports (surcharge), safes and minibars. The marble bathrooms feature Etro toiletries.
Expert Tip. Five kilometres away from Benalmadena's Torrequebrada Hotel is a world-renowned, 33-metre-high, golden-domed Buddhist stupa.
