Triana is one of the most famous and traditional neighbourhoods of Spain. It awaits you across Seville´s river, the Gualdalquivir. Come with us to discover the essence of Triana, birhtplace of many flamenco artists ahd bullfighters, neighbourhood of traditional pottery, ceramics and a great marine history. Join us to soak up the essence of one of the most famous areas of Seville.
We will start the tour at Plaza del Altozano, in front of the Triana grocery Market. The visit will continue stopping by Capilla de los Marineros", Santa Ana´s Church and the old "Universidad de los Mareantes". After this, we will stroll through Betis Street, nearby Guadalquivir river and reaching the bridge of Isabel II, popularly called "Puente de Triana", from where a beautiful view of "Paseo de Colón" is observed. We will pass nearby what it used to be Saint George´s Castle, belonging to the Spanish Inquisition. The last part of the tour will visit the famous courtyard "House of the Flowers", the Ceramics museum and finally the Triana grocery Market.
