Not worth the money

Not the private tour experience we hoped for. I expected to be picked up by the tour operator. However we were met at hotel by a normal taxi. The driver did not speak any English , so trip to seville and back was in complete silence. On arrival the tour guide was not there so we were told to go for a walk ourselves for half an hour. We were then handed over to a local tour guide Barbara who was very good for 2 hours then given tickets for the Alcazar to do ourselves. If i had to do this again would rather take train/ bus to seville ourselves, book the local tour in seville, then buy online tickets for Alcazar. Would have been much cheaper and exactly the same!

What a shock on our first visit after 5 years!

Beautiful and relaxing beachside experience IF YOU CAN STAND THE TRAFFIC TO GET THERE AND HOME AGAIN AND THE FACT THAT ALL ACCOMODATION ON THE SUNSHINE COAST HAS TO BE BOOKED IN BLCKS OF 3 NIGHTS OR MORE. That is, you can’t decide to have a short stay of two days one night unless you are willing to pay for 3 nights.
To visit friends up there, we had to stay 30 kms inland at a remote B&B that didn’t serve breakfast despite the name, and for $196.00 had a very small room with a bathroom across the hall ( challenging trip because this place was also pet friendly and the visiting pets were certainly very friendly). However it was in a beautiful setting at Black Mountain, the host was very nice and so were the other guests and the Pomona Gin Distillery, the only restaurant nearby to eat at was good.
We can recommend the Surf Club at Sunshine Beach where we managed to get a park to meet up with our friends, and the only cafe at Sunrise Beach where we stopped for breakfast and we’re also lucky to get a park.
But don’t go to the Sunshine Coast unless you can afford to fly in by helicopter and have a chauffeur waiting to ferry you around and have priority bookings months ahead at all the good restaurants.
