This is the best experience I’ve had in Nerja! If you are fit and love adventures , definitely book this canyoning trip!! It was super fun, our instructor was very professional and nice. It’s worth it!

We, a family of six, had a fantastic day in Rio Verde.
Exciting, spectacular and beautiful. The guides David and Javier not only made us feel 100 procent safe, they also created a personal experience with a lovely atmosphere - and a lot of laughs! Thank you!

Brilliant day canyoning

My 12 yr old son and I had a brilliant day canyoning down the Rio Verde with Local Experiences. The day was well organized and David was a great instructor. After a 45min walk up the valley side we were taught the different ways to jump into pools and slide down waterfalls and then spent an amazing few hours descending the Rio Verde - enjoying this beautiful place and having loads of fun. David takes great photos and videos on his go pro - all included in the price. We would highly recommend and will be coming back next year to do the longer version.

What a lovely day. It al started at the meeting point in otivar, where we met with Javier. From there we drove with the red van up to the natural park.
After a climb - with some steeper parts- of about 40-50 minutes , in our bathing suits and with our wetsuits worn as a 'backpack', we were ready to switch on our gear. We found the inner child in ourselves while descending trough the Rio Verde. Slippery sloped, high jumps, abseiling..the trip had it all.
Above all, we would like to give a big thankyou to Javier. He enhanced the trip to a new level. He made us laugh, made us feel confident, tought us alout about canyoning, the environment and he entertained the group all the way down...All in a very relaxed manner.
If we ever come back, would love to do it all again!

We loved it!
We went with our two 14yo teenagers and they really loved to do canyining with this super team. Fernanda, David and Javier are really nice people and very professional from begining to the end. On top of the site which is beautiful, they are well organised, furnishing good material and snack at the end.

Did this experience with my two sisters and I have to say I absolutely loved it! It was so much fun! A special thanks to Javi, he was so attentive and just awesome!! Definitely would do it again. I highly recommend this activity and this company!! You won’t regret it!

This was so much fun I would do it again in a heartbeat! Of the six people on our tour, four of us were over 60 years old. Granted the four of us all have a higher than average fitness level, but anyone with average fitness should be able tackle this adventure and have a great time doing it. Jumping off that last cliff was exhilarating, it made me feel 40 years younger! Our guide, Javier, was great. He took good care of us, gave useful instructions, and encouraged us to go for it and have fun. I would 100% recommend this adventure to anyone, and would definitely do it again next time I'm in Southern Spain.

One of the best things I have done on holiday! So much fun and in a beautiful location. Our guide, David, was really knowledgeable about the area and told us lots of interesting things about the trees and the history too. And we saw 4 goats! And we felt really safe and in good hands during the activity. We are totally exhausted now and you need a fairly good level of fitness. But it was 100% worth every penny.

Me and my wife joined this tour,we were so happy that we did it, definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Andalucia. Javier was such a great guide and what he sometimes missed in spoken English he compensated in kindness, empathy and professionalism, I felt I could trust him 100%, and I have trust issues (JK). Definitely would recommend to everyone to do this experience. About the experience itself it was longer and more diverse than we anticipated, also challenging, but we believe that any person with an average physical capability can do it.

so beautiful and safe, I would have felt better if our guide, Javier spoke/understood english better, and if he let more experienced Canyoneers demonstrate for new ones.
