We were complete beginners to horse riding but it was still a good experience for us. Dani was able to get us get us on horseback quickly and run through the basics of horseback riding. We practiced in the pen and got some tips from others working on the farm before heading out on a ride with Dani through an olive grove.
It was a nice relaxing experience. I'd recommend chatting with Dani during the trip. He's got an interesting past and still keeps active. I never would have guessed he ran ultra-marathons!
As for what to bring, I don't think you need to bring anything other than a hat or sunglasses. I'd also recommend wearing pants.

Worthwhile booking!
I'm an experienced rider and my partner is a beginner. We've been on other horse riding trails together before and always came away disappointed. Not so with this one!
To start with our group was small with only three riders so we never got that sensation of being herded along. Our guide was able to chat with us about the horses and the area.
Throughout the day our guide (Daniel) was the perfect mix of reassuring and easy going. As the owner of the stables he clearly cared about his charges and was an excellent horseman. The horse I rode had been trained by him and was the best I've ever ridden or will likely ever ride.
We were given some time in an arena to get used to our horses before setting out. This gave me an opportunity to canter which would have been unsafe with beginner riders on the trail. My partner was very happy to be given some instruction from Daniel that allowed him to actually ride his gentle horse rather than passively plod along.
The stable area is lively with agisted horses and their owners coming and going, stable hands cleaning out stalls and cats, small dogs, chickens and goats nearby. An animal lovers paradise. I could have stayed for hours. It goes without saying that the horses are in impeccable condition.
My only regret is I didn't enquire about booking a private lesson to improve my riding. The calibre of instructors and horses was impressive.

Magical Experience!

Centro Equestre El Acebuche is a real working farm and Dressage training facility a mere 13 km from the busy center of Seville. As a senior Dressage and Event rider who hung up her boots over 10 years ago after a serious horse-related injury, I felt some trepidation as I got to know the horse selected for me – “Dubai” a lovely purebred Andalusian. Dubai and I warmed up in the centre’s arena, surrounded by talented riders and magnificent horses going through their morning’s training routines. My goal for the day was not a cross country gallop, nor a lesson in the arena to refresh my riding skills, but an immersion into the countryside. Danny, my host, and I rode together through the farm’s surrounding area, the National Park of Donana. We easily conversed about horses, the Andalusian breed, his farm’s goals, and the history of Seville and the surrounding villages. What an extraordinary experience! Olive and orange trees in fragrant bloom. Explosions of color from wildflowers and cultivated fields of sunflowers. Birds singing, eagles soaring overhead. The lovely Dubai, impeccably trained and responsive to my lightest touch. Oh, to feel the incredible connection with a horse again – my emotions were soaring!

Memorable experience

Just come back from the horse riding experience. Danni the host and owner of the stables. Was very helpful. And knowledgable. As a inexperienced. Rider I was a little worried. But was soon put at ease. We have a 20 min practice in the ring. Getting used to the horses we were on. Then we went for a lovely trek through the olive trees. And almond trees. It was so peaceful trekking. Through. The countryside apart from the sound of the horses And the birds. It was so nice to get out into nature away from the city. Hustle and bustle. Would thoroughly. Recommend this trip regardless whether you are experienced or inexperienced rider. As your horse is chosen to suit. Your. Comparability. Thankyou danni for a wonderful. Experience

Lucia was a wonderful guide and fun person to ride with. She was super attentive but also relaxed and genuine. The horses were lovely, steady and well trained, and the atmosphere at the stable was professional and friendly. Would do again in a heartbeat!

Really nice people that run the farm and welltrained and beautiful horses! Definately not a typical turisttrap. I will return!
