Granada and the Alhambra

Peter drove us from Seville to Granada so we could visit the Alhambra and do a walking tour with him afterwards. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch right after our Alhambra tour that was perfect! We really appreciated how timely he was on the schedule and his wonderful personality. It was an excellent day trip. The Alhambra is a must see!
Excellent and Convenient Day Trip to Granada

We had a lovely day trip touring Granada! Our driver Alexis was punctual and extremely warm and friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with him along the way and learning about the rich history of Spain in preparation for our visit. At the Alhambra our guide Patricia gave so much deep insight at each attraction, and we were able to appreciate the beautiful architecture so much more thanks to the detailed history she shared. We wrapped up the day with a lovely tapas lunch near the Alhambra. Overall we would absolutely recommend this tour as a very convenient and personalized day trip from Seville - all the details taken care of by our wonderful guides, and we learned so much along the way!
Amazing Alhambra Tour!

Peter was a very good tour guide and wonderful guide for the long journey over and back to Grenada. We didn’t think seeing the Albysin was that valueable to us. Just the Alhambra and gardens was well worth the trip. Eliza Fernandez Gonzalez was our guide for the Alhambra and she is the best tour guide we have had the pleasure of using in the week we have been in Spain so far! She is a real asset to the experience.
Excellent all day trip to Grenada, Alhambra and Albayzin

We were lucky to get Peter as our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and asked us questions about what we wanted to do. He then customized the experience for us. Peter is fluent in English (and many other languages) and made talking with him very easy. He explained quite a lot of history that was extremely helpful to us on the way there. It was so helpful to understand the context of events before seeing buildings.

He also explained many things about the different regions as we traveled. It's a long car ride and he made it very entertaining.

Since we did not book a separate guide form Alhambra, Peter arranged an audio guide system that we could use on our tour. He also suggested starting at Alhambra shortly after arrival to beat the crowds. This made it very easy to see quite a lot of things in 2.5 hours. We saw so many things in that time period and went around tour groups all the time.
After we exited, Peter had arranged a very nice lunch place for us. We were hot, tired and thirsty and everything was great at lunch.
Afterwards, he arranged to take us to the top of a terrific lookout of the city. He then personally led us down the narrow and cavernous streets of Albayzin. He explained so many things that we never would have found on our own.
I should repeat that this was downhill and not uphill. Thank you Peter.
At the bottom, he gave us a lot of great photo opportunities and then he personally reclimbed the hill and came back to get us.
On the way back, we found more fun things to talk about.
This is a great experience of you are in Seville and want to learn about history and see all that Grenada has to offer.
Ask for Peter and you will have a great experience.
Great and private

This activity was perfect. We were looking for something personal that was not a bus trip. Peter was great and was full of history. Like other reviews, he took us to the top of the hill and walked down which was appreciated since we have been walking so much. Also he was very very accommodating and didn’t mind that we fell asleep on the ride (woops!). When we got to Alhambra we saw the whole place with a private tour guide, Patricia, who was so sweet and smart. She also knew all the tour guides of the bigger groups so we were able to go ahead of them in some lines because we were a small group. The tour was supposed to be suited for 8 but we ended up the only two. We also appreciated the car and not the bus. We were picked up at 0800 and back to Seville by 1900. It was perfect. I highly suggest this tour in cooler months, we went in September but I think it would have been too hot in the summer. Thanks!
Alhambra Day Trip with Enrique

Our family had a wonderful day with Enrique as our tour guide for a day trip to Granada to visit the Alhambra. He was prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and his personality and informational commentary made our visit fun and educational. We highly recommend Enrique and this Viator excursion!

The tour guide Peter was the best guide we’ve had so far. He’s very polite, very friendly, very considerate and very knowledgeable as well. He contacted us promptly before the tour and answer all our questions/concerns during the tour. He’s very knowledgeable and introduced a lot of interesting history of Seville and Granada. We learned so much from him and the whole 2.5-3 hour ride was not boring at all. At Granada, he recommended some very authentic local food restaurants, and he’s also responsible for the Albaicin tour where he explained the interesting history of the local residents, their village and the culture.

We all very much enjoyed the tour from Seville to Granada and Peter made the tour even more fun! Definitely would recommend Peter to anyone who’s interested in the local guided tours in Andalusia area.
Informative Tourguide and Safe Driver for all day trip from Seville to Granada

Peter was a tour guide and driver to Granada for a full day tour from Seville.

Peter was prompt and on time met us at the designated meeting point at 8 AM.

Since he’s originally from Germany, what’s the wind in Spanish in English, it was good to get the perspective of an immigrant living in Spain

Throughout the trip, he gave us information about Spain and Andalusia region. He showed us interesting spots on our three hour ride. It made it really interesting.

When we reached Grenada, he organize the tour in a very efficient way. We parked the car on the hill and walk down through Albaicyn in Granada city center. He showed us where to have lunch and adjusted the tour based on the needs of us and our teenage children

Inside Alhambra, we had another tour guide. who was a specialist for that location. Peter met us back at the designated time after our tour was done. He drove us back and was there on time

Overall, I will give him five stars and recommend him highly for an excellent informative tour guide, and an excellent and safe driver as well
