personal attention from owners. really cool experience. I love the town and Spain in general is a spectacular place to visit. Chocolate was excellent.
Nice activity for a family

We visited the chocolate factory recently to try one of their chocolate making experiences. We did the 15 minute express package which meant each member of our party flavoured and decorated three 100g bars of chocolate. You can choose from dark, milk, or white chocolate for each bar. After you’ve decorated your chocolate you need to leave your bars with them for 30+ mins to harden so we had a walk round Mijas to explore a little.
There was a wider range of flavours to choose from.
Staff were friendly and spoken English well.
If it would have been even better, we were not offered a look round the museum, which we would have liked to investigate a little. It would also be good to offer an option for perhaps having less chocolate. We partially chose our package as we came away with 15 bars of 100g chocolate, had we chosen a longer package we would have ended up with even more!!
Chocolate tastes fantastic and we’ve enjoyed eating some with a glass of wine!

Unique experience

What a unique way to enjoy the village of Mejas.... after touring the city we enjoyed making our own chocolates. They kept our candy until we were ready to make our way back our ship, which enabled us to have lunch, and do some shopping. The ice cream they sell at the store is a special treat as well.

We went for the 30 minute Bonbons & Bars Workshop...and it was great fun. The most fun was decorating/flavouring the bars and choosing from over 50 ingredients to do so - not an easy task!
Shortly after the workshop (and just enough time to enjoy a coffee and an ice cream from their cafe), your chocolate creations are ready for you to take home. I can confirm that they are tasty - well at least the ones we created were.
I would suggest booking in advance to ensure availability. The staff and teachers are a friendly bunch and made our experience one to remember.

Absolutely fantastic experience, wasn’t sure about this but learnt loads, got lots of chocolate making in and will be taking the skills forward to our prep for halloween.

Seriously delicious chocolate and amazing ice-cream! Friendly staff and everything made on site. A real treat to find and, once found, we were back almost daily!

Great place
Went back especially to have some of the mint choc chip ice cream which I think is pretty amazing. Also did the short chocolate making workshop (15 mins) but takes a while longer as it needs time to set. Set in the corner of the Mijas plaza virgin de la peña it’s a must even if you get the kids in the group to make the chocs while you enjoy a cooling drink ice cream desserts
