We had a good experience on the Hop On Hop Off. It allowed us to see a lot of the city we may not have seen. We did have to wait a long time for the bus at each stop, so please be aware. They may run more buses during tourist season.
Waste of time and money

We have purchased a family ticket, a 2-day pass in Madrid. The bus schedule is not very good, there are certain stops that are closed due to road works. The bus stops in Plaza Neptuno for over 20 minutes and it had a shortened service due to the parade. It is split into 3 routes, but it's not worth it - the major tourist places can be seen by foot, for free and enjoying the city. Anyway the bus cannot go very close to Plaza Mayor, Porta del Sol or the Royal Palace. We got off earlier than planned since we saw it's a waste of time. Save your money and if it's a bit far, take a taxi or an Uber - both cheap and affordable.

This is a good introduction to Seville covering the main sites of interest. Good pickup service from our hotel (free). Commentary good but could be improved by additional information on where the points of interest are before you pass by.
Save your money and book a walking tour

I love a hop on hop off bus tour but this tour does do justice to Sevilla.
One of the charms of the city is that many of the must see sights are in pedestrianized areas or cobbled narrow aide streets. You can easily see the sights on foot.
I had a wonderful restful few days before we did this bus tour and I honesty found the bus tour unsettling and stressful. It never really goes to *anywhere*... It goes near places but never quite *to* anywhere.
The sound quality of the audio was awful!
Tour passes many emblématique buildings without providing any info for them
