ジブラルタルの岩は、北アフリカのアラブ知事「Musa Ibn Nosseyer」のベルベル人指導者であるTarik Ibn Zeyadが岩の南端に上陸した711A年にまでさかのぼる興味深い歴史でいっぱいです。ジブラルタルという言葉はアラビア語の「Jebel Tarik」の派生語であり、Tariks Mountainを意味するため、彼の記憶は存続します。

Definitely a great trip! We left at like 8am, it was a 2hr 30min drive, and got to Gibraltar around 1030. We got on a tour bus that took us up the hill where we were able to get off and see the cave and monkeys. Once back down we had an hour and a half after to roam around, shop or eat. Then arrived back in Sevilla around 6pm. If you want to spend a longer day maybe this isn't a trip you want to book but if you want to see the area for a few hours I definitely recommend booking!

Petra was a superb guide, and the local Gibraltar guide, Clive, even better! Informative, well organized and timed, great bus driver I’m kind of in awe of. Unexpected how much there is to learn about Gibraltar’s history and it’s current culture.

Visiting Little Rock & Monkeys cave in Gibraltar was a very exciting experience. Our guide from Sevelle, Sandra and local guide in Gibraltar were very knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Everything was well organized, and there was enough time to see everything that needed to be seen. The coach to Gibraltar was very comfortable, and Zuraida the guide was cheerful and lovely. Once we got to Gibraltar, Paco the guide and drive was really funny. I am very happy that we chose this trip, and my son had a great time.

This was a fantastic day out! It was around £60 per person
We booked this through the jet2 rep in our hotel, if you book with get your guide you need to make your own way into town and meet them. We got picked up from the seafront of our hotel, we got picked up around 7/8 we first got to Gibraltar & went to the British owned island the guide was so funny both on the coach and the guide for the monkeys! They tell you lots of history of the island & it’s duty free and cheap but you can only take small amounts as you go through border control there, it’s really interesting! After your done shopping and sight seeing they take you to the mountains we’re the monkeys are you go into a cave & then the monkeys are just outside, we loved it! You can’t feed them as you get fined so don’t take any bananas! Lol. I really recommend this if your visiting the area you won’t be disappointed it’s a great day out & fun for all the family!!

Whole experience was great, and low stress, everything was taken care of. From the bus trip itself to the tour on the rock, it was a pleasure. The tour company was very communicative, and phoned us to tell us the trip was running a few minutes late at around the pick up time. This was due to a late arriving passenger. The bus guide walked us through customs, informed us of interesting sites. At the rock a secondary operator / guide drove us around and was also super helpful. Again the transition between guides was seamless. Everything was super simple. But most imortantly the tour on the island was great, especially the caves. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing day without any stress, and excellent sites. I would do this one again for sure.
Could I do this myself cheaper ? Of course ! But it would be a big hassle as it would involve orchestrating multiple "players". This was just a breeze. Exactly what you want on a holiday if you do not speak the local language.

It was just an ok experience. The guide was awesome. However the tour itself was uneventful. The town was ugly. The process to get to Gibraltar was way to long for what we ended up seeing. Could have spent the day exploring other towns.
Tour with short stops to the rock, free time 1.5-2 hours down in the city

Did not meet exactly my expectation. I thought we would go to the rock and be there the whole afternoon with free time to have walks etc. But the program was as follows: tour with a bus to the rock, with different stops to have a look for 10-20 minutes. Return to the city and 1.5-2 hours free time in the busy and hot city. We tried to use the time to go to the rock again with the cable car, but there was a long qeue that would last more than 30 minutes which made the time too short to go up.
