We were fortunate to be the only ones...

We were fortunate to be the only ones in the tour group. Our guide was Fran who was exceptionally knowledgeable in the historical events and excavation of the sites. It was a super hot day yet we had a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this tour but keep in mind it was just me and my brother so there is definitely a bias since it felt like a private tour. Nonetheless, Fran was super!

I took the guided tour for Madinat Al Zahra with in English with them. It was really worth the money. The guide was friendly and she took her time to really explain everything and answered all questions and even checked for our understanding :)
If you are in Cordoba I highly recommend using their services in all your tours.

This was a great little trip from the city. The palace is spectacular and we had a really good guide. There's a small but useful museum at the end in a beautifully designed building. I would liked an extra hour to wander around but this tour was a great introduction

Carlos was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and he made the group feel comfortable. He gave us time to ask questions . . Overall great. The only thing I wish they had a better way or instuctios to identify the guide. We had to ask around ..

Fascinating

Our tour got off to an unfortunate start as the office where we picked up our tickets was staffed by a single over worked member of staff who didn't speak English. My Spanish isn't up to much but then I'm not offering a tourist service! There was also some ambiguity about the bus pick-up point but it all worked out and we met our guide Isabelle on time.

We were the only two people who'd booked this tour so Isabelle became our personal guide, and very good she was too. She has a deep passion for history and archeology which was infectious and we quickly found ourselves transported back to the brief glory days of the "shining city". The parallels with Cordoba itself and Seville are striking and the position of the sight on the northern edge of the Guadalquivir valley gives a clear view of it's strategic importance.

Our only regret is that we could have done with more time in the excellently presented museum but we had to rush as we'd spent so much time talking with Isabelle on the main site that we were in danger of missing the return bus.

On the way back Isabelle let slip that we were only her second clients. Thank you and very well done Isabelle, you made this a journey back in time and space which we'll cherish for a long time.

Amazing history

Glad I took the tour. Olivia is very nice & knew history well and kept the journey interesting through-out until I didn’t realised time passed. Was lucky only few people in the group (english) & we could catch-up the tour & listen to her very well.
