Comprehensive Mosque-Cathedral Tour

It was a very informative tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about what she's sharing. It made us appreciate the Mosque-Cathedral even more because of the tiny details that she highlighted that we would have totally missed otherwise. An example of this was her explanation of the scratch marks in the columns from people trying to reach out to their deceased relatives. One thing that could be improved though is the headset system being used. We found the audio being garbled a couple of times during the tour.

Rebecca was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable, beyond kind & patient, and a joy to listen to for the 1.5 hour tour. We learned so much from her and she provided great recommendations of places to eat before we left. We felt well taken care of on the tour and loved every minute! The space is stunning from the gorgeous mosque to the incredible cathedral, pictures do not do this place justice! I went with my 72 year old mom, there are spots to sit during the tour, however no AC or fans - so we brought cooling towels and hand fans to keep cool. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was exceptional. Her English was easy to understand. She has a background in archeology, which showed in her extensive knowledge of history and architecture. The experience of seeing a mosque and a cathedral in the same building was awe inspiring.

Olivia was great. Tripadvisor not so great. When no tour guide at the appointed hour we called Trip advisor and they couldn't find our order. TripAdvisor did contact a guide and Olivia showed up in 10 minutes. Olivia explained the different times the Mosque was added on and the circumstances of each addition. We then covered the cathedral and various side chapels. Very interesting and we highly recommend the tour.
