Although I would have preferred to do the longer tour, the 1 and 1/2 hour was a very manageable visit for my teenagers. It gives you a nice introduction without overwhelming with too much data.

Perfect 4hr Tour with Miguel

Awesome 4hr tour with Miguel. The knowledge and history he possesses is amazing. You learn a lot in a short time which was perfect for our last half day in Seville. Miguel also dropped us off wherever we wanted afterwards which helped us in our short time frame. Highly recommended for visiting Italica.
A must see for fans of all things Roman.

This is the biggest Roman site we’ve been to- we ‘ ve been to quite a few across Europe . It is huge city You ll need a good couple of hours. Initially it seemed a bit ordinary, but then we began to realise the scale of the site and what we haven’t seen before: mosaics, several of them, all in situ and so well preserved. Also a couple of columns with the original edifice. You really get a good idea of how builds were constructed above foundation level at this site and utilised which we found fantastic Outstanding.

Really interesting. Much nicer to do with guide and understand the nuances of what we see. We went by car but there is a bus stop by the gate.

Jesus was an excellent guide with lots of energy and warmth. Italics is an amazing place not just for history enthusiasts. Final scenes from Game of Thrones filmed here.
Great Tour of Italica Roman Ruins

Jesús gave an excellent tour of Italica. It was super interesting and just the right amount of time (2 hours). His English is great and he is very knowledgeable about the site and Roman culture and history in general. Overall, a great experience!
Friendly, informative tour at a great price

Our tour guide, Jesus, was very friendly and passionate about the ruins. He seemed very knowledgeable on the subject and was happy to answer all of our questions. We got lucky to have a small group and he was very accommodating of us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Roman history in Spain!
Visiting Italica and the Monastery

The guide was knowledgeable, we departed from pick up points on time and the duration was advertised. The monastery was an unexpected highlight, one of the best medieval monasteries we've visited in France, England or Spain, very simple as Cistercian Monasteries were, but the painting was in great condition. The time in Italica was rushed. If your focus is the Roman ruins, then having a good guide is worth it, but 3-4 hours at Italica should be your minimum to get a good feel for the place and to really appreciate what's there.
Interesting ruins, unintelligible tour guide

Italica is definitely worth seeing. Our tour guide was very nice, but her English was so terrible that for the most part we had to guess what she was saying. She must have self-taught English from a book, because she pronounced everything so badly or just made up words that didn’t exist. Which left us wondering why gladiators were eating grass to put on more fat :-). As a tour guide you need to have better English skills, because the tour was dragging
