Musee de la Kasbah

Perfect day in Tangier from Spain

Absolutely amazing experience with ‘Tours Travel & More’ to Tangier! We had a mini bus pick up our little 9 person crew (4 adults, 2 kids, 3 babies!), in Torremolinos, and we headed to the port in Tarifa. They accommodated us perfectly. Communication organizing this day was easy and quick. Arrival in Tangier and Samir was our tour guide waiting at the port. We spent the day with him by private van / walking tour. We learnt a lot and had the most amazing meal in the Medina of Tangier. Truly an amazing experience and I would recommend 100%.
Samir and Tangiers were a highlight of our vacation!

This was the best way to see Tangiers for our family of 5. Samir was outstanding in every way. Very knowledgeable about the city, its history, and is was wonderful to see how passionate he was about his home. And as silly as it seemed, the camel ride was really fun and the pictures of our group of 9 were worth it! I cannot imagine touring this city without Samir! He was very helpful in shopping, engaging with vendors, and even reserved a table at a wonderful restaurant with great views. Well worth every penny!

We loved to exploring the highlights of Tangier and learning about the culture of the people living there. Samir was an excellent guide that provide a wonderful and perfect amount of tour for a one day trip. I would highly recommend this experience.

In one day, you can learn lessons about the Muslim culture, that you will appreciate for a lifetime. There are many differences in food, dress, forms of worship, artistic styles, architectural styles. The people were warm and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The marketplace was an adventure.
Cannot think of a better way to be introduced to a culture that just makes you want to peel the onion to discover more layers.

We had a wonderful experience visiting Tangier yesterday. Our guide Samir was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many wonderful places. Although we were there for just 1 day we left feeling we like we had seen so much of this beautiful city. He also took us to a great restaurant for lunch where we got to experience authentic Moroccan cuisine.

This private tour was excellent - our guide in Tangier, Samir, was outstanding. He and our driver Said were great companions, taking time to show us the sites and give us a glimpse into life in Tangier. Samir made a point to get to know our interests and tastes to tailor our experience to maximize the time we had. We started with a drive through town, then visited the coast where the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet, rode camels and then ventured into the Kasbah and Medina. Lunch was at a fabulous restaurant in the Medina, clearly a regular stop on the guided tours. From there Samir made a point to guide us to shops and sites that we were interested in.
Note to anyone considering this package: a driver picks you up and drops you off at the ferry terminal. It is up to you to navigate the ferry and customs on your own. The tour guide then meets you on the Morocco side. For the cost, I was anticipating a bit more expediting of the ferry and customs situation. If you have a car you might want to consider booking a tour without the pickups on the Spanish side.
Note to anyone considering this package: a driver picks you up and drops you off at the ferry terminal. It is up to you to navigate the ferry and customs on your own. The tour guide then meets you on the Morocco side. For the cost, I was anticipating a bit more expediting of the ferry and customs situation. If you have a car you might want to consider booking a tour without the pickups on the Spanish side.

To/from Malaga Hotel shuttle and Tangier driver = impeccable.
Samir, guide, personable and articulate in English. Very well done through the Kasba showing spices, fruits, how residents work/live etc. Great overview of new vs. old sections of town. Had issues with out of his routine questions/answers.
Personal summation: We spent $1100+ for the excursion. We were in-transit for 7.5hours. Excursion was designed to facilitate local economy. All of which is expected to a POINT.
I would change the camel ride, the exploited archeological site, and stopping so the guy could sell us rugs for an entirely unique Tangier / Moroccan experience. Maybe tour the Sultan’s palace since it’s open to the public.
