Came to Cordoba because of the Patio festival after having decided to go to Granada. Glad that I changed my plans.
This tour by itself makes Cordoba a must. Walking into patios of the residents was so surreal. And the warm welcomes.
The guide made it all the more interesting and not just about flowers.

Worth the guide

An enjoyable experience with Isabel. While this is a free event, the guide was worth it, as she knew which patios were best and which had the shortest lines. We lucked out that it was a Monday, so the lines were not too long anywhere. We ended up seeing at least 11 patios.

Courtyard patios at their best

Excellent tour, with a thoroughly professional, English speaking guide. She managed to bring so much of city and its courtyard patios to life. The actual gardens are to die for. So many beautiful plants and setting - many ideas to take home!! It’s a “must do” if you are in Cordoba in early May

Beautiful courtyards, with some interesting points from our guide. However, the map outlining the different routes for the patios is very accurate so in my view a guide wasn’t necessary.

Bookings for the patios

The patios were beautiful but the booking procedure not good at all. We had booked 4 places online but instead of being granted immediate entry to the patios we had to stay in a long queue innthe heat in order to get tickets before being granted entry. What is the point of making an on line booking if you then have to stand in a queue for tickets?
