What To Expect

The Alhambra
The Alhambra is a city, fortress and palace built by the kings of the Nasrid dynasty of the Kingdom of Granada. It is the symbol of Granada and is the most visited monument in Spain, a true masterpiece of Muslim art in Europe.

Nasrid Palaces
Palace complex, residence of the kings of Granada. The founder of the dynasty, Alhamar, began to build in the 13th century, although the buildings that have survived to the present date date mainly from the 14th century. These palaces enclose within their walls the refinement and delicacy of the last Hispanic-Arab governors of Al Andalus, the Nasrid.

Three palaces form this enclosure: the Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, or of Yusuf I and the Palace of the Lions, or of Mohammed V.

Generalife
The Generalife are the only example of Arab art which gives us an approximate idea of how these gardens used to be, where the Arab spirit, in all its sensually instinctive and improvised construction, was finally carried away.
