Overview

In our hour and a half visit we will detail the history and artistic aspects of La Manquita, the undisputed symbol of the city. The main milestones of the Catholic conquest will be the basis of our tour, which we will extrapolate to the artistic field and will explain the reason for being of the Cathedral of Malaga.

In addition, we will know the surroundings of the cathedral, such as the Sagrario church, where its direct antecedents are found; the Santo Tomás Hospital, one of the oldest hospitals in the capital, and which makes Calle Santa María one of the most beautiful in the historic center of Malaga; and the Plaza del Obispo, one of the most emblematic squares in the city where we will also mention both the Episcopal Palace and the main facade of the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
