It was a very thorough walking tour of Seville. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. And he answered random questions asked by us and the others. You could tell he really enjoyed the subject and people.

What a phenomanl introduction to Seville. Our host Carmen really made this experience special, from accomodating our 82 year mom to sharing detailed tales of the past. This tour give you a snap shot of the city's most historic locations and help orientate you around the city. Carmen was also extremely generous with restaurant recommendations and guidance on the best ways to enjoy the city. We felt like great friends by the time we completed the tour. Make sure you do this in your first day, you won't regret it. Thanks again Carmen.
Interesting and Interactive

We walked with Carmen who was really knowledgeable about the area and explained everything to us really well. The small group really made a difference as you can ask questions as you go and it's a more interactive experience. Would definitely recommend this.
Great overview of Seville

I previously turned up my nose a bit at walking tours. I thought they were tacky: a group of 30 tourists being ushered from location to location like sheep, but this experience has caused me to change my mind. Now I'm considering starting off any new city with a walking tour. It was a small group of five people so it felt more personable and you had the opportunity to ask questions, but it also helped me gain my bearings on the city. Throughout the rest of my stay in Seville, I rented a bike, but I was able to scan the horizon for the recognizable monuments to get a sense of where I was. "There's the Torre de Oro. That's where Muslims built a fortification to defend from attacks by river, that's where I have to head to get back to Triana." or "Oh there's the the tower of Giralda. That's where I have to go to get back to the old city." But also now when I talk about my stay in Seville, I'm able to weave in historical facts and stories and it makes your story telling richer. Jose explained things in a very thoughtful and structured way and I definitely recommend it.
